Google launch Glass Kit for developers

google glassGoogle finally launched a Development Kit Glass on Glass Hackathon event on Tuesday . GDK allows developers access to the hardware part of the Google Glass previously locked , it is also ultimately allow developers to create applications that can run offline on the Google Glass .

Google named this kit as GDK or Glass Development Kit . Google Glass  Senior developer Timothy Jordan revealed before the 100 guests along with the developers that GDK will enable you to build a service to users naturally .

Until now only the developers can build applications using API mirrors . GDK itself provides a new programming options that include allowing developers to provide site access , camera control , voice input demand and access the menu , make cards and detect gesture on the touch pad .


A number of applications are built using GDK was demonstrated at the event by the company . In addition to a survey in September found that in the UK Google Glass is the device most sought after.
