Microsoft Releases Temporary Patch to Fix Security Flaw in Office

Microsoft has released an emergency fix software on Tuesday after learning that a hacker can exploit a security hole in a previously unknown devices that are widely using Office software , which can infect Customer PC with infected Word document .

The software maker said on its website that they have released the software , known as the " Fix It " as a temporary measure until a given update automatically going to patch the computer to protect against new threats .

Microsoft said that they have learned from a number of attacks that is "very limited" that exploit newly discovered vulnerabilities , especially in the Middle East and South Asia .

The vulnerability affects customers who use Office 2003 and Office 2007 as well as those running Office 2010 on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 .


Fix It is a software to fix security vulnerabilities that must be manually downloaded and installed on your PC . They are designed to protect customers , while Microsoft is preparing for the official update automatically delivered via the Internet to be installed on the customer's computer .
